D'Altons Resort is nestled in Halls Gap - tourism centre of the Grampians National Park, around 235km north-west of Melbourne.

Allow around three hours if driving from the Melbourne CBD. Follow the Western Highway through Ballarat, Ararat and then along the tourist route via Pomonal. Entering Halls Gap, the Resort is located approximately 500 metres past the Mobil service centre, on the right.

Adelaide to Halls Gap is around a six hour trip (460kms).

It is possible to approach from the southern end of the Grampians; passing through Dunkeld and then heading towards Halls Gap. This makes an excellent option for a touring route, especially if you've just done The Great Ocean Road.
